Hi!
Got some time to make a recording on the BT myself today.
I’m in the middle of recording slide guitar so the guitar was setup with 0.11 strings and very high action, so my fingers hurt from trying to play normal stuff on it.
I only had time for 2 or 3 takes on it, so it is far from perfect, but no excuses, we are not better then the stuff that comes out.
I did get inspired by some of your stuff, so I decided to go for a mixolydian rock style solo (it was too hard to play fusion style with the heavy strings on the guitar).
It was actually very hard to not have all your great playing in my head so it was hard to get a clear view of what to play.
I recorded with my MO1 Ibanez in to a Peavey Prowler amp (no boxes used), recorded dry and added a little delay in the mix.
I did have to do a punch in at 00:43 because I broke a string. Very annoying, I wanted it to be one take. But that’s the way it is, stupid guitars.

Beautifull melodies, warm sound, very good licks, each note is controled!
My favorite part in your impro is at O:28, good intonation, and especially the superb "jazzy" licks at 0:36.
Very good technique also, great legato at 0:52, splendid!

You have a beautiful legato playing, very fluid. At 0.28 the melody starts to get lyrical and litterally flies to the sky. Beware of birds ! You are amazing for making it sound easy !
